Is the System too quick to take parental rights away?

Do you think the system is playing "God" in splitting up kids and their parents? The system is taking children away especially from parents who have had prior issues with drugs. When a parent is still trying to get themselves clean and doing a good job, and they take the children because they have adoptive parents who want to take them, do you think it's right? The system is taking kids from illegal immigrants who have been in the country, working and taking care of their kids... The system is splitting up families - when one parent is being deported and their kids are in foster homes. Why not give them a chance and reunite them? I am sick of what I see happening here in the United States and people saying "oh too bad, they aren't legal so that's too bad" or "too bad". The system is NOT educated enough about drug dependence and recovery either.
