Wouldn't it be great if South Carolina had a day in honor of EARTHA Kitt?

This my second time raising this issue. But it is an idea whose has come and it should have happened when she was living. Thankfully I have found a brave and well known legislator, Representative Mrs. Gilda Cobb-Hunter of Orangeburg. Like me she is not from South Carolina. But being that we live in this state. We want to amplify positive things and fight negative things like et al drugs, crime, homelessness, social problems, domestic so she is going to take the idea to the legislature and will keep you up to date but write your legislatures also and talk up the idea to recognize this great lady in your area or your part of the world. If I were in Paris,Turkey,London,Brazil or New York,California, or Chicago to name a few places people would know who she was so why can't South Carolina recognize they will because Mrs. Cobb-Hunter is raising the issue. Go to You Tube and watch her videos when she is interviewed and gives her opinions. She is so wonderful to watch and listen and not just as a entertainer she really made sense when she spoke of ecology of resources or about the war in Vietnam or about just everyday issues national and international. She will be greatly missed. And I hope that her daughter Mrs. Kitt Shapiro also will forgive us for not honoring her Mom before she untimely left us. Also pls share your views with me whether you agree or disagree.
