XBox 360 will not turn on, please help me?

this has happened to me before. but today, i was playin gon my xbox for maybe an hour and a half, and it froze. so i shut it off then tried to turn it back on, but it wouldnt turn on. When it shut off, it made a weird noise and then the controller light was just flashing, and the console would not turn back on. thi s happened yesterday too, but i just had to wait a day and then it turned back on. what can i do to fix this probleM? thanks
