Is it better to travel by train or bus from Bangkok to Siem reap?

You can't go all the way to cambodia by train so you are going to have to take a few buses, and not that comfortable of a trip. Chiang mai either way is good, you go at night so you not going to see anything, but you can get a sleeper car to sleep on the trip.
